Ricotta Festival
If you’re whey into cheese, then ricotta head to That’s Amore’s headquarters for this festival.
Giorgio Linguanti’s formaggi factory is celebrating light, fluffy ricotta for one day only, with dishes and desserts chock-full of the stuff.
Enjoy freshly made ricotta calda – simply, hot ricotta – straight from a large vat upon entry, then explore the rest of the festival's offering.
Ricotta stars in dishes such as gnocchi sorrentina, cannelloni with spinach, polpette, caponata with baked ricotta, bruschetta with speck and fresh cannoli.
Vino Bambino is pouring Italian wines and beers from a vintage Lambretta, and live musicians are playing Italian classics, too.
General admission tickets cost $10 and include ricotta calda on arrival. For $40, the ricotta lover ticket includes calda, gnocchi, polpette, a drink and a cannolo.
From 10am to 3pm.
