Raw Mango Pop-Up

Every fashion week, a handful of names generate real buzz. Last month, one of them was Indian label Raw Mango’s official London Fashion Week debut. Founded by Sanjay Garg in 2008, the luxury brand reinterprets centuries-old Indian textile techniques through sharp, minimalist silhouettes.

For the first time, Garg is bringing his collection to Australia with pop-ups in Sydney and Melbourne.

For two days, browse a curated selection of classic Raw Mango designs at Gertrude Street’s Gallery North. There’ll be silk saris and other ready-to-wear pieces featuring intricate work by Indian artisans across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Varanasi – all available to shop.

On March 28, Garg will sit down with Melbourne design commentator and strategist Neil Hugh Kenna to chat about the ideas shaping contemporary design today. The talk will be followed by drinks in the gallery. Few tickets are still available online.
