Stop what you're doing. Right now there is a tram cruising around Melbourne full of doggos. You can get on it and give them hugs. This is not a dream.
Guide Dogs Victoria and Public Transport Victoria (PTV) are giving you this treat to celebrate the first birthday of Dialogue in the Dark on June 3. The immersive experience is by the social enterprise of the same name and it takes guests on a tour of a simulated Melbourne in pitch blackness guided by a person with low vision or blindness. Participants are encouraged to problem solve with their remaining senses.
Look out for the orange Guide Dogs Victoria tram from 11am to 12pm. To find the tram's exact location look for tram 3532 on Tram Tracker. Adorable guide dogs will be waiting.
Over 60 years, Guide Dogs Victoria has bred more than 8000 puppies, which have helped thousands of people who suffer from low vision or blindness.
