Puma x McLaren Mastercard F1 Team: Ignition Beach St Kilda

As Melbourne readies itself for the Formula One Australian Grand Prix, PUMA and McLaren Racing are bringing some of that trackside energy to the sand. From March 5 to 9, West Beach Pavilion will host Ignition Beach – a free fan experience running daily from 10am to 11pm.

Inside, visitors can get up close to a MCL40 show car, try their hand at racing simulators and snap a photo with the team’s 2025 Constructors’ Championship trophy. The space will also showcase the PUMA x McLaren Racing replica collection with an opportunity to get your hands on the latest looks on site.

But beyond the high-octane displays, expect West Beach Pavilion’s usual line-up of food and drinks – alongside a few motorsport-inspired specials – best enjoyed beachside between sessions or as a pit stop of your own.

This event marks the first local outing for the new partnership between the sports company and the Formula One team. Whether you’re killing time before qualifying or simply curious about the papaya takeover, the pop-up offers a laid-back way to get closer to the action – sand between your toes optional.
