Porcine at Etta

Tue 19th September, 2023
60 Lygon Street Brunswick East 3057
A one-night-only dinner from two of the country’s best, featuring a star pate en croute and other French signatures.

Sydney's rollicking French bistro Porcine will enter the Etta kitchen next month for a one-night-only collaboration on September 19.

Porcine’s head chef Nicholas Hill will hit the pans with Etta’s Rosheen Kaul, introducing Melbourne to his levelled-up pate en croute and other signature French classics. You can also expect pork cretons (a French-Canadian spread, a little like rillette); endives with plum, capers and mint; and rooster pot au feu with Madeira bouillon and foie gras.

Porcine co-owners Harry Levy and Matthew Fitzgerald will also be in tow, joining Etta restaurateur Hannah Green on the floor.

“Rosheen and I absolutely loved our meal and the instant warm, neighbourly feeling you get when you reach the top of the stairs at Porcine,” says Green. “We're so pumped to welcome Nik, Harry and Matt to our home.”

The set menu is priced at $150 per person, with drinks (expect lo-fi-leaning wines) charged on consumption. Tickets are available via the Etta website from Friday September 1 at 9am.
