Polish Festival 2019

Sun 17th November, 2019
10:00am – 5:00pm
Federation Square
Corner Swanston and Flinders Streets, Melbourne VIC 3000
Party like you’re in Poland with a day of pierogi, street food, vodka, folk dancing and fun activities.

The 15th annual Polish Festival returns to Federation Square for a one-day celebration of Polish food, culture and music.

Enjoy performances by folk-reggae musician Victor Janislow and dance ensembles Polonez and Łowicz & Łowiczaki. (Dance lessons are scheduled throughout the day so you can get it on the fun, too.)

Sample a selection of Polish dishes including kielbasa (sausage), bigos (hunters stew), doughnuts, cakes and piwo (beer). Market favourite Pierogi Pierogi will also be serving its Polish dumplings, with flavours such as ruskie (creamy potato and white cheese), kapusta (mushroom and sauerkraut) and mieso (organic beef and vegetables).

There’ll also be an area dedicated to activities for kids (face-painting, dress-ups and arts and crafts) as well as stalls where you can browse books, clothes, jewellery, vintage posters and Christmas decorations.
