Plenty of Fish in the Sea Seafood Sessions at Prahran Market
If lobster rolls, fresh oysters and ice-cold prosecco make up your ideal Friday night, Prahran Market has you covered all month. Every Friday of February, it’s hosting new seafood sessions that celebrate the ocean’s bounty.
There’ll be pop-up food stalls, games and activities, sets by local DJ sets and live entertainment.
The Que Club is serving up kingfish tiradito with yellow chilli and mango; smoked corn and crab cakes; octopus tentacle skewers with harissa; and smoked salmon rillettes on grilled focaccia. Dingo Ate My Taco will have ceviche and fish tacos on the menu; Claw & Tail is serving prawn rolls and lobster rolls; Inkredible Calamari makes what it says on the tin, and Prahran Seafoods will have fresh fish’n’chips and oysters at the ready.
For dessert, try cheesecake sticks from Stix, and there’s enough booze to go around thanks to The Prosecco Van and cocktails from Patient Wolf.
Entry is free, but pre-registration is encouraged.
