Classical connects with contemporary in this series' most eclectic line-up yet.
Play On is back with its genre-bending format that pairs Australia’s most acclaimed young classical musicians with its best electronic artists.
Series four will feature premiere performances from contemporary classical composers Olli Mustonen and Nico Muhly, a set from selector Noise In My Head, and an original live performance from Italian-Australian techno queen Chiara Kickdrum.
Now London-based mezzo soprano Lotte Betts-Dean is coming home to close the series with another Melbourne native, Pjenné.
Known for its innovative line-ups in unconventional spaces, Play On will run on three Friday nights: March 9, 16 and 23.
Performances start at 8pm.
