Pique-Nique at Domaine Chandon
Inspired by the classic French pique-nique – a tradition that dates back to the 17th century – Domaine Chandon is hosting a series of summer picnics on their lush grounds in the Yarra Valley.
Beginning on December 7, the Pique-Nique Lawn will sport luxurious linens and fresh floral decorations, allowing guests to stretch out under an umbrella and take in the surrounding Yarra Ranges.
On arrival guests are granted a glass of Chandon Vintage Brut 2015, Chandon Vintage Brut Rose 2013 or Chandon S. Once in hand, receive your own picnic basket containing a host of goodies considered a delicacy back in France – and will continue to be so wherever you decide to sit and eat them.
These include locally-made charcuterie, aged cheeses, piquant olives, freshly-baked baguettes, and a sweet little selection of macarons.
This exclusive event is being offered for a limited time only. Bookings are essential – or, you can try your luck winning a bespoke picnic experience in the format of a long lunch at Domaine Chandon for you and nine friends right here.
Book now, via Chandon’s website or by calling 9738 9200.
