Pick Your Own Cherries
With those in metro Melbourne finally able to travel into regional Victoria from November 8, it’s time to start planning a cherry-picking visit to the Yarra Valley’s idyllic Cherry Hill Orchards.
Cherry season is one of the few times in the year that the orchard – which is celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2020 – opens to the public. This year, it runs from November 27 to early January.
When you’re done picking cherries on the 85-acre orchard, you can also try its cherry ice-cream or rose cider.
Book a two-hour time slot here from November 1. It’s $45 for a family of four, $19.50 for an adult, $10.50 for a child, and free for children three and under.
