Piccolina’s Gelato Lamington
Collingwood’s Piccolina Gelateria has joined a haul of Melbourne venues doing their part for fire aid.
The gelateria has added a gelato lamington to its menu, which will be available through January, February and March. Each month 100 per cent of the proceeds will go to a bushfire-related charity. In January, the charity of choice is Wildlife Victoria, which assists with the rescue and rehabilitation of native Australian wildlife.
Piccolina’s riff on the classic Aussie dessert is made up of vanilla gelato, strawberry jam and sponge cake – all encased in a dark-chocolate glaze and tossed in shredded coconut.
