Peel Street Festival

Peel Street, Collingwood
Kick up some dust in Collingwood at this huge community celebration.

The Grace Darling Hotel is bringing back the Peel Street Festival for a second round. It's a free event celebrating the life and vibrancy of the Collingwood community under the plane trees of Peel Street.

The headline act is local classic Coloured Stone. Known for the song Black Boy, they're still kicking 40 years into their career. And Totally Mild will be playing songs from their excellent record Her. There will also be sets from Mod Con, DJ Jnett, and P-UniQue, and favourites from last year Girl Zone and Uncle Jack Charles.

And there'll be food, art and clothes stalls – all run by Collingwood locals.

This event is open to everyone – kids, families and dogs – from 12pm to 8pm, but after that it's 18 and over only. Then the party will continue at Lazerpig Pizza Parlour and the Grace Darling Hotel, so the adults can kick on until 1am.
