In a former 1900s wine shop, Cellar Bar is the most casual of Guy Grossi’s venues. And to celebrate Shrove Tuesday, traditionally a feast day before Lent, it’s rolling out a special pancake menu that will run for three days only.
There’ll be ricotta hotcakes served five different ways: with mascarpone, caramelised orange and pistachio; berries, coconut yoghurt and macadamia; gianduia (chocolate and hazelnut) and strawberry; banana, caramel and walnut; and bacon and maple.
They’ll be $15 each, and for an extra $8 you can make it boozy with prosecco or a Bellini.
From 7am to 11am Saturday February 22 and Monday February 24, and 7am to 10pm on Tuesday February 25.
