Themes of play in both the mind and body will be explored in artworks including a series of paintings, wood cuts, an abstract playground installation ,and a magnetic wall full of shapes with which viewers can create their own playscape.
Both artists use bold colour in their work. Orpin’s art is bright, graphic, bold, feminine and dream-like. McRae uses crisp lines and strong colours, influenced by her comic-fuelled childhood on the Sunshine Coast.
The exhibition runs from June 14–July 15.
Mon to Sat 9am–4pm
