Nike x Broadsheet “House of Go” Running Party
Update (26 February, 2018): This event is now fully booked, but there’s still one last chance to attend. We’ve saved 10 spots for our takeover of the epic Nike House of Go, register your interest for the chance to win a spot for yourself and four friends.
To celebrate the release of its new Epic React shoe, Nike is turning the Collingwood Arts Precinct into a giant interactive playground – and we’re hosting a party there before it opens to the public.
Dubbed the Nike House of Go, the takeover will see the heritage-listed building host an eye-popping labyrinth of rooms, tunnels and experiences. These will include a ball pit; bounce room; slippery slide; and large-scale art by artist Reko Rennie.
It’s all in celebration of the Nike React’s core features – lightness, softness and bounce – which you’re invited to interact with throughout the installation.
Both will tailor their menus to the event. Lazerpig will serve a specially created pizza as well as classics including the Prawn Fraser, Queen Margherita, Italian Stallion and Broc Steady. Bar Liberty will provide a bespoke bottled cocktail made with rhubarb and hibiscus tea syrup, økar and vermouth, as well as Moon Dog Beer Cans, wine and a house-made blood plum soda mocktail. Ice-cream parlour Aqua S will be taking care of dessert, serving their signature fairy floss soft-serve with sea salt and strawberry cheesecake.
Music comes courtesy of Touch Sensitive, there will be free entry to the House of Go, and the opportunity to trial and purchase the new Nike Epic React.
The Nike x Broadsheet House of Go party runs from 6pm to 10pm on Friday March 2 and numbers are strictly limited. Register here.
