It’s been a rough road for Nick and Nora’s, the art deco-themed cocktail bar from The Speakeasy Group (Mjølner, Eau de Vie, Boilermaker House) at 80 Collins Street. It was only open for three days before Melbourne went back into stage-three lockdown.
But now restrictions have begun easing, it’s hellbent on making up for lost time.
As soon as hospitality is allowed to reopen – 11:59pm on October 27 – Nick and Nora’s is opening its doors once again and toasting the end of lockdown with plenty of fancy booze.
Fifty-seven guests will be greeted with cocktails and a bottle of champagne on arrival, drinking up the venue’s opulent interiors for just an hour and one minute (from 11:59pm to 1am).
Tickets cost $65 per person and are available online.
