New York Pop-Up on Flinders Street

If your Tiktok is trying to convince you to visit New York City, you’re not alone. Luckily, you can soak up a bit of the NYC action this weekend – without boarding a plane.

From Friday February 28 to Sunday March 2, 524 Flinders Street will transform into a free walk-in experience that brings the Big Apple straight to Melbourne, all thanks to CommBank and the launch of Travel Booking. Expect the vibe of Times Square, plus an essential culinary highlight: hot dogs from a world-famous stand.

A Times Square staple for over 46 years, John’s Famous Hot Dogs is a must-visit spot for authentic NYC-style hot dogs – and they’ll be available for free at the pop-up.

The entire event is free to attend, and all visitors have the chance to enter a competition to win AUD $10,000 in Travel Booking travel credits. If you’ve been dreaming of your own New York adventure, this could be the nudge you need.
