New Year’s Eve at The Q

There’s something special about bringing in a new year with the view of the city skyline on New Year’s Eve. This year, ring in 2024 from the 28th floor of The Quincy Melbourne at The Q with a $160 set menu and take in 360-degree views of the Melbourne CBD in the lead-up to the countdown.

The sister venue of Salted Egg, The Q is Quincy’s Club Lounge during the day and breezy rooftop terrace bar by night – with views of the city stretching from the Yarra River to Port Phillip Bay.

On New Year’s Eve, start the night with a signature Quincy Sling cocktail on arrival, free-flowing beer and wine all night long, an Asian feast specially created by The Q’s executive chef Adam Woodfield (previously Chin Chin and Jimmy Liks), as well as a glass of Piper-Heidsieck champagne at midnight.

The NYE food menu features all the best flavours of The Q. Small bites include pacific oysters served with red nahm jim, Mekong chicken ribs, and smoked duck betel leaf with Thai chilli. For mains, diners can enjoy grilled Angus striploin, steamed snapper fillet, and a pomelo and asparagus salad with roasted coconut, peanuts and shrimp floss on the side. For dessert, there’ll be coconut panna cotta, dark chocolate mousse, baked taro cake, and coconut and haba haba macaroons.
