An advance screening of RBG and panel discussion led by women in the documentary film industry.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg was the second female United States Supreme Court Justice, and remains one of four ever to be confirmed.

RBG, directed by Julie Cohen and Betsy West, is a documentary examining the life and legal legacy of the 84-year-old, who built her career representing sexual equality cases and became an unexpected pop culture icon – the "Notorious RBG".

This special advance screening, presented by the Melbourne Women in Film Festival, will be followed by a panel discussion led by women working in the industry, including Genevieve Bailey (I Am Eleven), Catherine Dwyer (Brazen Hussies) and Alice Burgin (current director Australian International Documentary Conference), mediated by MWFF director Sian Mitchell.

From 4pm.
