Chef Alex Perry of award-winning Castlemaine restaurant The Good Table presents his latest concept Situation Dining – an ethically minded collaborative dining experience. Joining forces with The Moon in Collingwood, Perry will take up residency on Sundays in June to deliver four eight-course, ultra-seasonal lunches.
Perry's wholly vegetarian menu will be complemented with wines carefully chosen by big-name local winemakers, including Tim Sproal, Patrick Sullivan, Stuart Proud and Jarad Curwood.
They'll be tasked with pairing contemporary Australian wines with gastronomic creations such as Perry’s first dessert of the menu – cardamom marshmallow, candied feijoa and finger lime.
Sittings begin at 12.30pm and the $90 tickets cover the eight courses. Wines are at an additional cost.
