Moon Flix At Lulie Tavern
Picture this: you’re bundled up on a rooftop overlooking the inner city with popcorn in hand, keeping warm by a fire while watching Matthew McConaughey or Liv Tyler in your favourite cult-classic film.
For the month of July, Abbottsford bar Lulie Tavern is hosting free movie nights every Sunday on its rooftop. Each week it will be showcasing a different iconic rock’n’roll movie starting with Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof on July 7.
Up next: Dazed and Confused on July 14 followed by This Is Spinal Tap on July 21, a mockumentary of British heavy metal band Spinal Tap.
Finishing strong on July 28, will be Empire Records following a young crew bearing the weight of rescuing a record store. Damn the man, save the empire!
Enjoy freshly popped popcorn, house-made choc tops, Old Fashioned cocktails by High West and glasses of Doom Juice. And stay warm wrapped in wool blankets from Pendleton under the starry night sky.
