Meet the Maker with Sarah & Sebastian
Australian jewellery brand Sarah & Sebastian will open up about its design process and creative insights in a Mercedes-Benz’s Meet the Maker session held at the new Mercedes me Melbourne concept store on Collins Street.
The series allows guests to meet the makers behind brands that epitomise singular design and skill. Sarah & Sebastian was co-founded in 2011 by creative collaborators Sarah Gittoes and Robert Sebastian Grynkofk, and has been featured in the likes of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar for its take on refined, minimalist jewellery. Each piece is designed and handmade in the label’s Sydney studio from reclaimed gold and silver and ethically and locally sourced stones.
This session on January 24 will feature co-founder Robert Sebastian Grynkofki discussing the brand’s story and creative processes. Key pieces from Sarah & Sebastian’s Tidal collection will be on display during the session, with free shipping on offer for all purchases. There will also be a demonstration of the jewellery making process at 9am and 12pm.
Sebastian Grynkofki’s talk is open to the public, and the in-house cafe (run by St. ALi) will be open all day.
