Victorian distillery Marionette, known for liqueurs including flavours like plum, dry cassis and peach, is hosting an 11-day pop-up market in Fitzroy to celebrate the launch of its new elderflower liqueur.

Stop by from Thursday February 13 to Sunday February 23 for icy alcoholic drinks including a blood plum, sake and shochu slushie; a peaches-and-cream shaved ice; and a rum and blue curaçao ice pop.

Favourites from the Melbourne food and drink scene will also be popping up at the market throughout the week to sell their wares. On Saturday February 15, there’ll be affogatos from Luther’s Scoops, pastries from Charlie Duffy of Small Batch and jelly from Joey Leung of Joy Jaune. On Sunday February 16, drop in for savoury scones from Mark Hammel of Reed House and cheese from Lucy Whitlow of Conferre Group.

There’ll also be some ticketed events over the 11-day event, including a fermented drinks masterclass with Kalya Saito of Molli and Caitlin Koether of Little Molli on Monday February 17, and an edible flower-arranging and cocktail making class on Thursday February 20.
