Luliepalooza 2023
If you’ve ever visited Abbotsford’s Lulie Tavern or its upstairs counterpart Full Moon Fever, you know that owners Jon Farrell and Brendan Kennedy are reliable purveyors of good times. The beers are cold, and Tom Petty or Bruce Springsteen are always cranked loud.
The bar’s annual street party is held in Lulie Street, next to the bar’s original site. And naturally, it brings the very same vibes. This year’s edition brings back Bronco the Bucking Bull, plus an obstacle course and skate demo from Fast Times skate shop. On food, Lulie will be sizzling its house burgers, and southside pizzeria Freddy’s cooking slices.
The all-important music line-up consists of The Murlocs, Leroy Macqueen, Sunfruits, C.O.F.F.I.N, Full Flower Moon Band, ENOLA, Split System, Emilee South, Ruby & Loretta, Heavy Amber, House of Cheese DJs and Hogwash & The Riff Raff (a Tribute to AC/DC).
