Inspired by women-led creative and entrepreneurial spirit, this dainty treat is landing in Carlton for just over two weeks.

If there’s one thing Madeleine de Proust Patisserie knows how to do well, it’s madeleines. And we’ve teamed up with the Carlton bakery to celebrate La Femme, F5 Collective’s upcoming activation spotlighting visionary female founders. The collaboration arrives in the form of a limited-edition madeleine that turns the classic French treat into a stylish collectible.

With a special lavender and honey flavour, this take on Madeleine de Proust’s signature treat is light, buttery and baked fresh daily. It’s dipped in a burgundy-coloured chocolate shell, with a lilac miniature handbag chocolate garnish on top to reference La Femme’s pop-up retail experience. This design is only available in-store, while at La Femme’s VIP lounge, you can find a version with F5 Collective’s motif on top.

They’re available in-store from November 1 to 16, or on Thursday November 13 when you visit La Femme, the one-day takeover of Hawker Spaces on Little Collins Street that champions the next generation of women-owned brands across fashion, beauty and wellness. The activation uses scent, sound and design to tell each founder’s story, creating a new model for how we shop and support independent businesses.

Swing by the Carlton patisserie to pick up a box and show some love to the makers reshaping the local creative scene.
