Lenko Pop-Up with Chili Philly and Dog Photog
Right in time for the release her newest quirky, unisex sweater range, Dana Lenko is giving you a chance to shop cute critter clothing and get crafty.
The 12th year of Lenko’s annual Animal Sweater collections includes a Tasmanian devil, a jellyfish, an axolotl, a King Charles Cavalier and, for the first time, a children’s edition featuring a stegosaurus.
Try your hand at knitting a crochet hat under the tutelage of knitting genius Phil Ferguson, better known as Chili Philly. Ferguson is known for his colourful food-themed crochet headwear, and past creations have included a hamburger, a chili and a banana.
Another special guest is Melbourne favourite Dog Photog. They are offering the chance to get photographic evidence that your pooch is the is the most regal via dog portraits with props and pomp. Bring your fur prince/princess along to a royal-themed dog photography session, in celebration of the Queen’s birthday.
And Lenko herself will run a class teaching you how to use colourful sand art to make the perfect home for a succulent.
Lenko has designed a limited-edition sweater, exclusively for the pop-up, featuring a coral-reef design. All of her sweaters are made and designed in locally in Melbourne, and all fabrics are ethically sourced.
The store is open from 10am to 6pm daily.
The crochet class will run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursday June 7. Tickets available here.
