Have you sat inside the psychedelic tea party? Walked the hall of mirrors? Crawled through the small door? If not – or if you just need to do it again – this marks your absolute last chance to descend into the trippy world of ACMI’s wonderful Wonderland exhibition.
This last hurrah involves access to the exhibition until midnight on both Friday and Saturday nights. On the Friday night, Cool Room curates. The weirdness of Wonderland will be amped up with a live set from local doom duo Divide and Dissolve. They’ll be joined by DJ and multi-disciplinary experimentalist Makeda, and electronic-noise act Papaphilia.
Saturday night will see Melbourne's DJ Sal set the mood for the final evening with a live set from 6pm, before folk artist Thelma Plum takes the stage and bids the magical world of Wonderland farewell.
As has become a feature of the exhibition, live performances and parties will be buffered by further festivities, including drinks, snacks and your very last trip into Lewis Carroll’s wild imagination.
