Laneway Learning Sunday Spectacular
The people over at Laneway Learning run classes on weeknights that teach you about ... well, stuff in general. Crocheting? Sure! Starting your own terrarium? Absolutely! Traditional Japanese bookbinding? Are you kidding? Of course they do! This Sunday they're expanding a little, running a series of regular (if you can count subjects like 'The Science of Roller Coasters' or 'Neuroplasticity' regular!) classes as well as a series of more informal 'How To' sessions that can be attended in full or in part.
These smaller modules include information on how to keep bees; how to master cryptic crosswords; how to take your chess game to the next level; and how to code Arduino robots; and are being held at various locations around town, including at Captains of Industry, and can be attended for a gold coin donation. All funds raised go towards a variety of rural Australian causes, so shake off those winter blues and get educated. Who knows, maybe you'll be Australia's next top beekeeper!
