La Mama Presents Nightfall
Although La Mama Theatre in Carlton burned down in May, the show will go on at the La Mama Courthouse. The not-for-profit playhouse, known for supporting independent and forward-thinking artists, will host a new play for kids: Nightfall.
This work made for kids aged between four and 10 follows Emily, a girl who befriends a dragon and stubbornly avoids going to sleep.
The show will be directed by Tamara Searle and Emily will be played by Shannon Quinn. The team behind the show created Nightfall to inspire young artists through the magic of theatre.
This is one to catch for its colourful set, dynamic projections, puppetry, and lively score.
