Keeping Silent Vigil
A silent vigil will be held on the steps of Melbourne’s Parliament House following the death of 21-year-old Aiia Masarwe, who was allegedly assaulted and murdered on Wednesday morning.
The vigil will have no speakers or music. Attendees are asked to wear all black and to remain in complete silence throughout the event. Signs are permitted.
The vigil is happening from 6pm to 8pm, although people are welcome to come earlier or later. The "Stand for Aya" event will be running at the same time and location.
