The Jardan Melbourne store will be hosting an exhibition by Melbourne photographer Kate Ballis for two weeks in September.
Ballis’ most recent series, Infra Realism, will be on display, showing a side of California hidden below the surface. By using the infrared spectrum of light, Ballis is able to highlight aspects of nature that the human eye is not equipped to see. She aimed “to candy-coat California, from wild deserts, to pools, to the banal.”
Photographs from the Infra Realism series will be available to order at the opening of the exhibition on September 14, and sold exclusively in all Jardan stores and online.
