“I Can Buy Myself Flowers” by The Beautiful Bunch
Fitzroy North’s The Beautiful Bunch is a florist with a difference: every purchase directly provides support to young women from a refugee background, giving them access to training and employment opportunities. And it doesn’t hurt that the arrangements they put together are stunning, with a focus on seasonality and inspired by cottage gardens.
Now you can learn how to make your own with a special Valentine’s (or Galentine’s) Day workshop called “I Can Buy Myself Flowers” – undoubtedly inspired by Miley’s self-love anthem.
The workshop will be led by the team’s florists and will run for two hours. Light snacks and free-flowing rosé are included.
Tickets cost $150 per person, with proceeds supporting The Beautiful Bunch’s mission of providing meaningful employment to young refugee and migrant women.
Plus, some other things you can do on your Galentine’s Day out, as suggested by Miley herself: write your name in the sand, talk to yourself for hours, take yourself dancing and hold your own hand.
