Hot & Spicy Food Day at Preston Market
Chilli. You either get it, or you don't. Why would anyone want a mouth full of fire? A racing heart and constricted lungs? A streaming nose and eyes? Because the endorphin rush is pure bliss, that's why.
Get hot and bothered (in the best way) at Preston Market on February 27, when some of its traders will be serving special spicy dishes.
There’ll be chilli-stuffed olives and chilli-coated salami at Lemnos Deli, chilli tomato bread at Dragisha & Nikola Bakery, bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) at T’s Vietnamese, chilli con carne pie at El Alamo, spicy bean burritos at Cornutopia and more. Plus, Danny Balboa hot-sauce tastings at Local Pantry Co.
You can also up your spicy-cooking game at two classes: learn how to make Moroccan chicken tagine from 12pm to 1pm, and spicy Malaysian curry (with accompaniments) from 1.45pm to 2.45pm.
From 8am to 6pm.
