One of Melbourne’s top chefs is overseeing a limited-time immersive culinary adventure.

Scott Pickett - of Chancery Lane, Longrain, Matilda, and Estelle fame – is taking over The Attic at Hanover House in Southbank, part of the BETA experimental event series, for a multi-sensory dining experience that promises to merge "scent, sound and taste."

Taking up lodgings from November 10 to December 5 at The Attic on the fifth level of Hanover House in Southbank, Higher Order aims to be a collision of dining, immersive design and theatrical performance.

Across a 90 minute session (with two sessions per night, Wednesdays - Sundays), Pickett will oversee a roaming tasting menu complemented by eight art installations, performance, lighting and signature cocktails.

There will also be a bespoke drinking menu to enhance the experience, alongside a full bar available for contactless purchase.
