High Country Hop 2023
Beechworth’s Bridge Road Brewery is celebrating hops and gigs with the return of its beer and music festival.
The High Country Hop features beers from the region’s top breweries such as Bright Brewery, Mitta Mitta Brewing Co, King River Brewing and Billson’s Brewery. Aussie breweries like Bentspoke (ACT), Fox Friday (Tasmania), Hop Nation and Molly Rose (Victoria) are also represented, with special guest Firestone Walker from California.
The Bridge Road Brewers team is also unveiling two new fresh hop collaboration brews at the festival – with Firestone Walker and Fox Friday respectively.
Plus, sample wines and spirits from the region, and get woodfired pizza from the brewery, a spicy feed from Toun Thai, American classics from Old Factory BBQ and ice-cream from Gundowring.
This year’s musical line-up includes performances by fuzz-funk band the Seven Ups, Indigenous hip-hop artist Birdz, afrobeat quintet Bananagun and pop singer-songwriter Maple Glider. Comedian Aaron Gocs will also be bringing his standup routine to the stage between sets.
