Hermès at Work
French brand Hermès is offering Melburnians a behind-the-scenes look at its creative processes in a travelling exhibition arriving this month.
From March 8–17, fans of the fashion house can learn about its traditions and values, and discover the skills that go into making its bags, scarves, watches and more, from those who know best: it's craftspeople.
Across nine display areas in Melbourne’s Town Hall, they'll demonstrate various production techniques and explain their importance
A film about the brand's Saint-Louis crystal works, played on a 360-degree screen, will immerse visitors in the world of its resident glass-makers and cutters.
The free event runs from 11am–7pm.
Closed March 12 (Labour Day).
