Spring is officially here, and it’s made a much-awaited appearance at the gardens around Heide Museum of Modern Art.
Native plants have bloomed around the former dairy farm, including the silver princess and the trees in the stone fruit orchard. Stroll through the walled garden, kitchen garden and wild garden to see different plants and flora.
The adjoining sculpture park features more than 30 sculptures spread out over 15 acres, with works by Anish Kapoor, Anthony Caro, Neil Taylor and Jeff Thomson, among others.
The gardens and sculpture park are open to the public for daily exercise – just make sure it’s in your five Ks. (The museum itself remains closed.)
