Hawker 88 Night Market
In its second year, Hawker 88 Night Market is bringing Asian street food back to Queen Victoria Market.
On Wednesday nights this spring, more than 20 food stalls will set up under the market’s iconic sheds serving street food from Thailand, India, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia and Japan. Some highlights include Son in Law’s spicy fried chicken ribs, Wonderbao’s pillowy creations, traditional Filipino pig on the spit, Japanese pork ribs and twisted potato skewers.
Each week will have a different theme dedicated to an Asian cuisine or dish. One will be all about the divisive durian, another will celebrate the eponymous Chinese mooncake festival.
Entertainment will come in the form of traditional Chinese lion dance, martial arts and K-Pop.
Wednesdays from 5pm to 10pm.
