Grounded: Back to the Body with Kora Pilates
Sat Feb 28, 2026
1:30pm–4pm
1/170 Sydney Road, Coburg
Price: Free for Broadsheet Access members
Kora Pilates is a new reformer studio on Coburg’s well-loved Sydney Road strip that’s made for building strength, breathing deeply and moving with joy. And it’s partnering with Broadsheet Access to bring you an exclusive wellness day on February 28. Expect grounding exercises and sound journeys, ayurvedic rituals, nourishing food, and beauty and skincare goodies from local brands owned by women of colour.
The day starts with Kora’s signature Reset reformer class led by instructor Savini Ediriweera – an opportunity to turn the lights down low and concentrate on breathwork alongside slow-burn mindful movement. Tunes are via Nada Soma, which specialises in bespoke music journeys to support wellness practice.
Next up is a guided ayurvedic self-care session from the founder of Phos Rituals, who’ll take Broadsheet Access members through how to administer facial cupping for lymphatic drainage and hair-oil head massage for nervous system regulation. You’ll learn all you need to repeat the soothing rituals at home – and score free tools and products from Phos Rituals for some indulgent DIY.
There’ll be time for nibbles and drinks along the way – courtesy of local Palestinian cafe Beit Siti and neighbourhood fave Gemini Bar – plus wellness goodies from Dear San coconut water, Mocha Mamta incense papers, Ukoo skincare and L’Orient body treatments.
Sound good? Log in or join Broadsheet Access today for your chance to join the Access x Kora Pilates wellness day and indulge in some ancient self-care practices.
