The Fitzroy pub has put together a finish-at-home footy feast with house-made dips, Meatsmith snags, marinated Wagyu minute steak, Skull Island prawns, scallop skewers and more.

You can't watch the footy at the pub or the ’G this year but you can still have a topnotch barbeque at home courtesy of Fitzroy's Builders Arms Hotel – maybe even with a few mates (restrictions pending).

The much-missed Gertrude Street pub has put together a mixed grill, which will be available Friday to Sunday, featuring pork, fennel and espelette sausages from nearby fancy butcher Meatsmith; a double-loin chop of Suffolk spring lamb; marinated Wagyu minute steak; Skull Island prawns; scallop skewers and house-made mustard.

There's also a trio of dips (green tahini and broad beans, smoked trout rillettes with capers and chives, beetroot and yoghurt), plus a handful of sides including a hearty Greek salad. Complete the pub experience with freshly tapped growlers of Young Henrys lager or pale ale for $39 – then refill for $35.

It's $45 per person (up to an optimistic 100 people) and can be picked up with cooking instructions between 12pm to 7pm on Friday October 23 to Sunday October 25. Pre-orders open Monday October 19.
