Good Food and Wine Show Melbourne
The Good Food & Wine Show returns in 2022 with an expanded program for its 21st year, bringing with it a three-day celebration of wine, cheese and other local produce.
On the wine front, more than 600 makers from the nearby Yarra Valley, the Alpine Valley and other notable regions from across Australia including Barossa, McLaren Vale and Margaret River will showcase their varietals. Wine writer Nick Ryan will host a series of playful tastings at the Riedel Drinks Lab, exploring everything from versatile pink wines to winter-friendly whites. For a more individualised experience, you can sip your way through the multi-section Wine Selectors Tasting Room.
The Good Food & Wine Show is also a direct way to champion our local hospitality industry, whether it’s with live cooking demos on stage in the Kitchen by Harris Scarfe hosted by celebrity chefs (including Spanish chef Miguel Maestre and Master Chef favourite Brendan Pang) or an Eat Local Restaurant Pop-Up series that includes top Melbourne dining destinations such as Adam D’Sylva’s Fried Chicken, Pinchy’s and 400 Gradi.
Also on-site will be the cheekily named Smelly Cheese Project and Cheese Lane, the scone-and-cream-stacked English Garden, and the market-style Good Food Village. On the spirit front, a vintage 1972 bus has been converted into the Glenfiddich Whisky Wanderer, a unique whisky lounge on wheels. The Hendricks Airstream Gin Bar and Monkey Shoulder Mixer will also be present and correct.
For tickets, you can choose between general admission or bundle up with a tasting glass pass. Elevate your experience with a wine lovers ticket or if gin’s your thing, the gin lover’s ticket. The VIP ticket includes a virtual tasting journey to Margaret River.
