Gnocchi Festival at The Ascot Lot
Back by popular demand, The Ascot Lot’s Gnocchi Festival is celebrating all things gnocchi with help from food trucks and live entertainers.
The Italian Chef is serving a traditional, slow-cooked Napoletana sauce over the pillowy dumplings, while Pasta Face is offering either four-cheese gnocchi from a giant wheel or a spicy bolognaise with fresh chilli over the little lumps. Eat My Balls is doing a vegan Swedish gravy with lingonberry jam and dill pickles, and Ardor Food Co has gluten-free diners covered with a GF and vegan basil pesto.
Dine on picnic tables in the beer garden or rug up inside the drinking hall. House cocktails for the weekend are also Italian-inspired and include Peach Bellinis, spritzes and classic Negronis.
Takeaway handmade gnocchi will be available from market stalls on the day for those who can’t get enough of the doughy treats.
Live entertainment includes DJs and plenty of dancing. As always, dogs are welcome to join in on the fun.
