Gluten Free Expo
Those with coeliac disease or gluten intolerance can have the rare pleasure of feasting without fear of cross-contamination at the Gluten Free Expo. It’s on at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on October 5 and 6.
There’ll be a whole host of foods that are often inaccessible to the gluten-free community. Expect traditional Greek souvlaki, Italian toasties, a Pringles alternative, cannoli (in exotic flavours such as Aperol Spritz) and brownies. Plus sip gluten-free craft beer.
It’ll also be an opportunity to learn more about coeliac disease. Some of the country’s leading researchers, psychologists and pediatric doctors will be speaking at the event.
From 9am to 4pm.
