Glow Winter Arts Festival 2024
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Glow Winter Arts Festival, the City of Stonnington’s free annual program of immersive outdoor installations brimming with light and colour.
The four-night festival will light up the Central Park after dark in late July. The 2024 edition features a series of newly commissioned feature installations and exclusive works by artists from around the country.
Sydney-based design studio Atelier Sisu has created an iridescent “art-chitecture” installation, while Sydney creative Maurice Goldberg presents a 14-metre inflatable sculpture integrating video and music – collaborating with interdisciplinary artist Andy Forbes. Yarraville collective Skunk Control shares two nature-inspired installations merging art and technology, while South Australian creative studio Pulsing Heart presents a participatory work that encourages visitors to interact with, and contribute to, a lush generative soundscape.
Glow Winter Arts Festival 2024 runs from 5pm until 10pm on Thursday and Sunday, and until 11pm on Friday and Saturday, with toasty hot chocolate, mulled wine and food trucks snacks aplenty.
