The Gingerbread Demolition 2016
The Gingerbread Demolition is coming to Melbourne. It will allow adults to unleash their inner-child to support Fitzroy-based charity program Cubbies, which has helped vulnerable migrant children find a safe haven since 1974.
From decorating cookies to smashing giant gingerbread houses with rolling pins, this event will certainly allow you to turn back the clock.
Gingerbread will be supplied by Melbourne bakers Cupcake Central, Dessert Parlour and Hawthorn Common. Extra sweets and savoury treats by social enterprise food truck Crêpes for Change will also be on offer.
For those after something a bit more adult-appropriate, there'll be beer, wine and cocktails as well as live music from Lady Midnight and gingerbread murals by street artist Sir Circle. 1000 £ Bend will also be shaking up a gingerbread cocktail.
A silent auction will take place on the night with prizes from Mantra Lorne, General Assembly, The Whisky Social and more up for grabs.
Kicks off at 7pm.
Tickets include all food, two drink tickets and entertainment. For more details, visit gingerbreaddemolition.com.
