Multi-Aria-award-winning artist Genesis Owusu has announced four intimate live shows, titled Redstar Wu’s Neighbourhood Jams, across Sydney and Melbourne in September.
The Ghanaian Australian musician will bring the Good Times to Sydney Opera House (again) on September 19 and 20 before heading to Melbourne’s The Night Cat on September 25 and 26. He’ll also be accompanied by Sydney-based experimental punk trio Shady Nasty.
Along with his four-piece band, Owusu will give showgoers a peek at unreleased material from his upcoming album, as well as renditions of past hits from his debut album Smiling With No Teeth and more.
Discord presale begins 12pm Tuesday, July 29.
Sydney Opera House What’s On presale begins 9am Wednesday, July 30.
General tickets are on sale from 9am Friday, August 1.
