Heide gardener Luke Murchie will teach you how to grow your own native Australian garden, in this wide-ranging talk. He’ll cover how to distinguish indigenous and non-indigenous species, tips for planning your garden and maintaining it, and the techniques and processes involved in growing thriving native plants and flowers. Murchie will also be available to answer any questions you might have about how to successfully navigate your own DIY project at home.
The price of the talk includes admission to the museum and current exhibitions including Sidney Nolan: Search for Paradise; Under Lamplight: Albert Tucker and Patrick Pound; House of Ideas: Cynthia Reed’s Studio; Dean Cross: Sometimes I Miss The Applause; and Listening To Music Played Backwards: Recent Acquisitions.
Open to the public all year round, the beautiful gardens at Heide offer a space for group enjoyment and individual reflection and incorporate a sculpture park.
