This month will see winemaker Gareth Belton bring Gentle Folk Wines to South Yarra’s Ramblr for a five-course wine and food collaboration.
The Gentle Folk Wines winery is located in the Basket Ranges of Adelaide Hills, where it runs on a philosophy of winemaking being led by the season and the grapes, rather than a predefined style. On the night the winemakers will showcase some new releases alongside old favourites, paired with a five-course feast from Nick Stanton’s kitchen.
Adelaide artist and stick-and-poke tattooist Alex Harris, who is behind Gentle Folk Wines’ label design, will create a large installation for the evening.
The Friends of Ramblr series sees some of Australia’s most intriguing winemakers, chefs and artists collaborate with Ramblr’s award-winning kitchen team. Since opening in late 2016, the acclaimed and refined casual diner has solidified a reputation as one of Melbourne’s best diners.
