For one day only, get a free limited-edition collab flavour served on a slice of bougatsa custard pie.
Gelato makers Pidapipo and star cookbook author Julia Busuttil Nishimura have collaborated on a limited-edition flavour to celebrate Busuttil Nishimura’s new book Good Cooking Every Day.
The collab flavour is inspired by Busuttil Nishimura’s bougatsa (a Greek custard pie) recipe. The gelato features a zesty, lemony semolina custard coated in caramelised filo pastry flakes, and will be available at all Pidapipo stores until Sunday October 6.
The cookbook author will be at Pidapipo’s Fitzroy store today from 5pm to 7pm giving out free slices of her bougatsa topped with the collab flavour.
There’ll also be copies of the author’s new book available to purchase.
