"Found" at Tinning Street Gallery
Misunderstanding, disconnection, melancholia: Found exposes the gap between seeing and understanding.
Emah Fox’s new exhibition at Tinning Street Gallery overwhelms the senses with light, sound, and sculpture installations that emphasise the way we process pattern, repetition, and comfort. The assault on the senses destabilises familiarity and renders the viewer vulnerable to the uncertainty of space and time.
Harnessing the fickle mediums of light and sound, Found juggles our perception of the real world, and emphasises just how uncertain our environment is.
Gallery opening hours are 10am–8pm. Found launches with an opening reception on Thursday August 13, from 6–9pm.
